1. Information We Collect

When you use JobRush, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, resume content, job preferences, target locations, and payment information. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, optimization history, and interaction patterns to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our resume optimization, job-matching, and outreach-draft services; to process payments; to send service-related communications; to analyze usage patterns; and to maintain platform security. Some processing — specifically resume rewriting and outreach-draft generation — relies on third-party AI providers as described in Section 5.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using industry-standard encryption both in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Database infrastructure uses row-level security policies that restrict each user's data to their own account. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your full credit card details on our servers.

4. Resume Data

Your resume data belongs to you. We do not sell your resume content, and we do not share it with employers, recruiters, advertisers, or data brokers. Resume content is transmitted to our AI processing providers solely to generate the optimization, matching, and draft outputs you request — these providers are contractually bound to process your data only for service delivery and not to train models on it. Hiring-contact enrichment uses only the target company name and role; your resume is not transmitted to that provider. You can request deletion of all your resume data at any time by contacting us.

5. Sub-processors

To deliver the service we rely on third-party providers across the following categories: cloud infrastructure, payment processing, AI text processing, hiring-contact enrichment, and product analytics. Each operates under its own privacy policy and a data processing agreement with us. We never share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

A current list of named sub-processors is available on request — email privacy@jobrush.ai and we'll send the latest list. Material changes that affect how your data is processed will be notified to subscribers per Section 9.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies via the providers named in Section 5 to understand aggregate product usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral tracking, or sell behavioral data to advertisers.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your data, withdraw consent for optional processing, and request account deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for service improvement purposes.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
