Support staff could consist of Mortgage Loan Originator Assistants and Loan Support Specialists as direct reports.
Responsible for providing sales and marketing support to assigned Mortgage Loan Originator(s) (MLOs) by providing lending support functions within Truist policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.

Assist with hiring, training, coaching and meeting other Human Resources requirements for direct reports, including, but not limited to setting goals and objectives, evaluating performance and development and time approvals. 2.
Responsible for managing daily activities and workflow management of the Mortgage LOA and Loan Support Specialists and other direct reports to ensure effective and efficient coverage of loan file set up needs. 3. Monitor and evaluate pipelines from time of application to ensure compliance and timely action by MLOs ensuring internal service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved. 4.
Ensure that sales file submission quality and timeliness standards are met. 5. Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with client, attorney, or appraiser document follow-up as determined through quality control or post-closing review. 6. Support direct reports by maintaining a complete and thorough knowledge of the Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, as well as secondary market investor's guidelines utilized by Truist. 7.
Responsible for management and execution of initiatives, strategies and directives that support the Division. 8. Fulfill Loan Support Specialist duties and act as an individual contributor/or coach based on span of control and need. 9. Role may require up to 50% travel if supporting retail divisions, and up to 10% travel if supporting direct channel.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related experience 2 3+ years mortgage industry experience with increasing responsibilities 3. Typically manages a team of 4+ direct reports 4. Handles complex job duties/responsibilities and special projects independently 5.
May be responsible for training entry-level employees 6. Demonstrated proficiency in relevant computer applications 7. Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role including new or transfer of registration and acceptable NMLS background check Preferred Qualifications: 1.
