You will design and deliver solutions that directly improve how GEL operates worldwide — from data pipelines and dashboards to agent-based workflows built with tools like Claude Code. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, where your work will be visible, impactful, and shape how engineering teams across Micron adopt the next generation of AI-driven development
Responsibilities
- deploy software and AI-enabled solutions, including agent-based workflows and automation frameworks that reduce manual effort and improve lab operations Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code to accelerate coding, testing, documentation
- solution design Develop integrations and data pipelines connecting GEL systems with enterprise platforms such as MES, Snowflake
- MAM to ensure data is accessible and AI-ready Build and maintain web applications, dashboards
- internal tools that support data entry, analysis, tracking
- decision support Own the full solution lifecycle including production reliability, incident response
- mentoring peers on AI-enabled development practices Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
- equivalent practical experience 3+ years of experience in software development or a related field Strong proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages, with experience in Linux/Unix environments Experience with web application architecture, API design, database schema design
- data pipeline development Proficiency with Git version control and modern deployment workflows Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot Experience building LLM-based workflows and prompt-driven development patterns Experience designing automation or agent-based systems Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable, reusable solutions Experience mentoring peers and driving adoption of modern development practices across teams As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
