Amazon's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support our Transportation Technology and Services organizations. In this role, you'll have exceptional visibility with leadership and meaningful influence in the decision-making process. Key job responsibilities - Own financial planning and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy through proactive audits and diving deep to identify root causes of discrepancies
  • implementing solutions to resolve finance issues - Analyze complex datasets and build financial reports to address business questions, providing clear findings and recommendations that influence data-driven decision making at the senior leadership level - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on financial reporting standards, develop improved control mechanisms
  • implement process improvements that scale controllership with measurable results - Partner with business stakeholders to translate financial metrics into actionable insights that support operational performance, resource allocation decisions

  • headcount planning. We serve as strategic financial partners, providing data-driven insights that guide decision-making across all levels of the organization. Our team fosters a collaborative environment where continuous learning and knowledge sharing are encouraged. We're focused on building scalable financial processes and innovative solutions that enable our business partners to make informed decisions quickly and confidently.
  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience - 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience - Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - MBA
