The Manager, Process Management COE is accountable for leading and embedding enterprise business process management and controls in line with NAB Standards. Process Management and Knowledge Management including delivery of Content Management standards across Enterprise Operations (EO). Ensuring strong end‑to‑end process governance and uplift of process maturity aligned to risk, controls
- regulatory obligations. The role provides strategic and people leadership to the Process Management COE, with clear delivery accountability to enable Process and Model Owners to meet their obligations, drive continuous improvement
- strengthen operational resilience. Through strong governance including adherence to Change Risk Process, Modelling standards
- assurance, the role also ensures operational content, including work instructions, is consistently documented, maintained
- accurately reflective of EO processes in line with best practice. Key Accountabilities -
- Embed and sustain enterprise process management standards (PACE) and NABit standards across Enterprise Operations
- Uplift end‑to‑end process maturity and governance outcomes across EO
- Reduce process quality issues through the implementation of effective controls
- Enable timely identification, escalation and remediation of process and control risks
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality work instruction documentation aligned to approved process models
- Support the change risk process and alignment to change governance standards
- Improve the currency, clarity and usability of work instructions across EO
- Embed trusted, accessible and continuously improving knowledge as an asset to enable accelerated colleague capability, reduced risk leading to better customer outcomes and delivery execution
- Deliver COE deliverables in line with ELT Measures, timelines, and capacity
- Provide clear, insightful reporting to senior leaders on process risk and maturity
- Build and sustain COE capability, including PACE accreditation and coaching readiness
- Maintain strong stakeholder confidence and engagement across EO
- Drive ongoing innovation to ways of working through continuous improvement and technology across the team and broader business unit
- Support and enable change across Enterprise Operations in line with change risk management requirements. Essential Capabilities -

- Demonstrates strong understanding of process, risk, controls, and regulatory obligations alignment
- Manages time and priorities effectively, balancing multiple demands in a dynamic environment
- Leads people performance, coaching and capability uplift
- Drives change and innovation through effective leadership and cross‑functional collaboration
- Applies strong listening skills to uncover root causes and align diverse stakeholder perspectives
- Maintains a strong track record of performance delivery and talent development
- Communicates clearly and confidently in writing and verbally, adapting style for senior and diverse audiences and complex issues
- Operates flexibly and collaboratively to ensure seamless team delivery across geographical boundaries (preferred)
- Ability to leverage technology and tooling combined with AI to drive innovation and continuous improvement (preferred) Experience and Qualifications -
- 13+ years’ experience within the Financial Services industry or similar
- Experience supporting the delivery of transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to provide strong, inclusive leadership that drives outcomes through others.
- Comprehensive and demonstrable knowledge of process and controls management (essential)
- Practical experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and practices (preferred)
- Professional certification or a relevant tertiary qualification in business or commerce.
