Job Title Analyst – Transaction Monitoring Operations About your role: Transaction Monitoring Operations teams at Fiserv support the review of transactions, alerts, and exceptions to help maintain operational integrity across payments and financial services activities.

In this role, you will execute transaction monitoring reviews by following approved procedures, documenting outcomes, and escalating unusual or unresolved items through defined channels. You will help support consistent operational decisioning, quality execution, and control adherence in a high-volume environment.

What you’ll do: ·Review transactions, alerts, and exceptions flagged for transaction monitoring using defined rules, thresholds, and standard operating procedures. ·Assess transactions, alerts, and exceptions for basic risk indicators, unusual activity, and process deviations within approved review guidelines. ·Make defined operational decisions on transaction monitoring cases and exception handling in accordance with approved procedures and escalation paths. ·Escalate suspicious, unusual, or unresolved transactions, alerts, or exceptions to the appropriate team lead, manager, or escalation queue. ·Document review outcomes, including decisions taken, supporting observations, and escalation reasons where applicable, in workflow tools, trackers, or internal systems. ·Maintain accurate case records, evidence, and audit trails while following quality checks, operational controls, and review standards. ·Support a roster-based operating model, maintain productivity and quality in a high-volume environment, and adapt to SOP updates, alert logic changes, review instructions, and operational priorities. ·Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in transaction monitoring, fraud operations, risk operations, payments operations, banking operations, or financial services operations.

Ability to follow SOPs, review checklists, alert handling procedures, exception handling logic, and escalation guidelines accurately. Good attention to detail, documentation discipline, and ability to manage high-volume case queues. Good written and verbal English communication skills, along with willingness to work in a roster-based model covering 7:30 AM IST to 4:00 PM IST, with mandatory weekend coverage every week and compensatory off as per roster.

Experience that would be great to have: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Experience supporting eCommerce, payments, fintech, banking, card issuance, merchant acquiring, or financial services operations.

Experience with alert review systems, case management tools, workflow platforms, or operational review trackers. Experience identifying recurring patterns, operational gaps, and opportunities to improve review consistency or escalation quality.
