Job Description The State Street Global Delivery team is looking for a professional with Investment Management Operations and Investment Accounting experience who is passionate about working in an energized environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage the day to day activity for clients as part of the Front Office Support Team, as well as support the strategic client onboarding activities this team performs to service these and new clients.
The position will interface daily with clients’ front office management and act as a subject matter expert and escalation point. They will manage to daily client SLAs and internal deadlines in order for their clients to trade timely. The candidate is also expected to provide analytical support in any change request on-boarding as it pertains to our BAU operating model.
Why this role is important to us: The EMEA FOS team is critical in bringing to life State Street Global Delivery’s (SSGD) value proposition to Alpha clients. The team is often the face of State Street’s Front to Back value proposition, either virtually or directly in the client’s office, working end-to-end to resolve multi-faceted queries.
By blending the right combination of qualitative and quantitative skills, the FOS team supports the processing between Front, Middle and Back Office. The FOS Team will work with our clients, GD leads, Alpha, CRIMS as well as other key stakeholders to drive value for our end clients.
What you will be responsible for: You will be acting as primary contact point for the client's Front Office team, triaging issues and ensuring they are resolved, calling upon internal teams where necessary. Using CRIMS and excellent communication skills to provide a technical support service to clients requiring assistance with the front office systems.
It will be crucial for the successful candidate to maintain industry knowledge for suggestions on implementing standard methodologies and improving processes. In this role responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Take ownership of BAU issues across the Front and Middle office to resolution, engage teams as needed to maintain accuracy of Clients’ Order Management Systems (OMS) and Middle Office IBOR recordkeeping systems.
Lead and manage the investigation and resolution of queries, bringing them together from a client support perspective. Collaborate with other teams to share approaches, develop best practices and improve team capabilities both pre and post client migration.
Interact with the clients regionally and globally as needed to ensure the deliverables are met, participate in weekly / monthly service review meetings as required. Manage the documentation of new or update existing operation controls and procedures.
Track client feedback/requests and incorporate in FOS road map. Help standardise strategic solutions and best practices across clients for economies of scale, working with Global Delivery business units to assess and streamline processes in order to mitigate risk, cost or service issues and generate efficiencies.
Act as a resource taking a leadership role in transformation and growth initiatives. These skills will help you succeed in this role: Strong Front Office expertise, Charles River (CRD) and Middle Office IBOR recordkeeping system experience essential 10+ years of Investment Management operational support experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent client facing & presentation skills Motivated and team oriented individual who possesses the ability to work in an energizing environment while handling multiple tasks Capable of adapting and leading through change Proficient with Microsoft Office, SQL coding and accounting platforms Education & Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of Investment management operational experience Relevant degree in Economics or similar field Additional requirements Knowledge of additional European languages like German or Dutch will be considered a plus.
