At Micron Technology, we’re looking for a Process Engineer with experience in thin films deposition to help drive the most critical projects associated with Thin Films Development for Micron’s Advanced DRAM Nodes, with focus on enabling High-Value solutions for High Aspect Ratio, Electrically Sensitive, High Density Devices.

In this role, you’ll lead critical process engineering initiatives that directly influence yield, cost, and product reliability. You’ll work across development and manufacturing to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and enable successful product ramps.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve assembly process issues using structured methods (failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, SPC/FDC) Lead process, equipment, and material evaluations
- implement improvements at the process step level Drive yield improvement, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives across manufacturing lines Validate and scale new process baselines, tools, and materials for new product introduction Manage and audit suppliers
- support internal and external audits and site-to-site process portability Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years leading critical projects with measurable business and technical impact PhD or Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience Hands-on experience with failure analysis, FMEA, SPC/FDC, or similar methodologies Proven ability to analyze data and implement process improvements Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues Preferred Qualifications: Experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments Familiarity with APC, RMS, or automated process control systems Experience with new product introduction and process qualification Experience working with supplier quality management and audits As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
