Manager, Business Ops / Finance, located in Raynham, MA or in West Chester, PA or Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Warsaw, IN or Raritan, NJ. Job Overview This role provides strategic and operational finance leadership to support business performance, decision-making , and long-range planning within DePuy Synthes.
The Sr. Manager, Business Ops / Finance partners closely with cross ‑ functional and senior leaders to drive financial rigor, improve processes, and enable sustainable growth. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on business results, resource allocation, and operational effectiveness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support short ‑ and long-term business objectives . Partner with business and functional leaders to provide financial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations that drive performance.
Oversee management reporting, variance analysis, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency. Support strategic initiatives, including investment evaluations, cost optimization, and business case development.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements. Lead and develop finance talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
MBA or advanced degree (preferred). Experience and Skills
Required
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, business operations, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Proven ability to partner with cross ‑ functional stakeholders and influence at the senior leadership level.
- Experience leading teams and developing talent in a matrixed environment.
- Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance, and financial governance
Preferred
- Experience supporting a global or multi ‑ business organization. Background in medical devices, life sciences, or a regulated industry. Experience driving process improvements or finance transformation initiatives. Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning capabilities. Prior experience partnering with operations, supply chain, or commercial teams. Strong analytical and problem ‑ solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
- Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
