  • Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Actuary for the Philadelphia, PA location to analyze data to estimate risk and financial impact for global healthcare insurance company. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain actuarial\ models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
  • Support the development of new products, pricing strategies, and profitability.
  • Perform scenario testing and analysis of risk and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders in person and in writing.
  • Monitor experience studies and adjust assumptions based on emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with finance, underwriting, and product teams to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Hybrid work schedule. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, or related field (with a minimum GPA of 3.20) and 2 years of experience in any actuarial role in the healthcare domain.
  • Must have experience with: analyzing data using Python;
  • Working with big data and querying data using SQL code; and,
  • Advanced Excel Functions.
  • Must be an Associate of the Society of Actuaries. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
