- The Amazon Fulfillment Technologies - Platform Engineering Services Team is looking for a System Dev Engineer who will join the team responsible for supporting automated Quality Assurance and Testing solutions for Grocery and AFT software. About the Role Your problem-solving skills will directly benefit customers by ensuring Amazon's Grocery and AFT services deliver on their promises. You will leverage AI-powered testing frameworks to accelerate quality assurance, reduce manual testing effort

You must be able to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages. You must be able to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, work to improve the customer experience
- get the right things done. A day in the life A typical day on our team involves collaborating with other engineers to deploying software through our large automated systems
- operationally supporting your newly deployed software. You will seek out new approaches to automate fixes for operational issues, use AWS services to solve design problems
- engage other internal teams to integrate your applications with theirs. About the team AFT’s Platform Engineering & Services team leverages data, process improvement
- innovative technologies to provide comprehensive engineering excellence services/solutions across AFT’s product portfolios.
- 5+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience - Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems) - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby - Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience with distributed systems at scale - Experience in automating, deploying
- supporting large-scale infrastructure - Experience building test automation frameworks and tools - Experience in manual testing, test planning
- creating detailed test cases - Experience debugging, diagnosing
