This role will be responsible for ensuring we have drone operation sites designed to integrate across the drone vehicle, our traffic management system
- the Amazon fulfillment network. This role requires the ability to work across cross-functional teams ranging from engineering to construction management to drive us to integrated site designs. Strong technical communication, documentation
- schedule planning skills are a must. You will directly support the leader of the operations site engineering and work within the Office of the Chief Engineer. Key job responsibilities Own and drive program level milestone tracking and implementation, dependency mapping
- schedule updates. Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, presenting strategies and results to senior leadership and operational partners Directly support leadership in defining roadmaps, setting goals, tracking progress to plans
- ensuring cross-team integration. About the team The Office of the Chief Engineer includes teams spanning the drone vehicle, our traffic management system
- operational sites engineering. This gives us the ability to be nimble and move quickly and reduce overhead as we develop integrated products and solutions in a highly complex, cross-functional space.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience with engineering product development programs, especially in vehicle design, hardware design, and/or operations.
- Experience working with air, space
- ground vehicles, particularly autonomous vehicles - Experience in owning Product Development roadmaps, portfolios
- project plans - Background in Systems Engineering, including requirements development, trade study management
