Lead supplier negotiations for proactive and reactive price changes, commercial terms, and conditions. Collaborate with Global Category Transactional Support to identify, support, or implement process improvement opportunities. Ensure adherence to bank verification procedures and other fraud‑prevention controls.

Build and execute negotiation strategies grounded in detailed data analysis and category insights. Partner with category leaders and stakeholders to help achieve procurement goals, including cost avoidance, cost savings, and service quality.

Provide mentorship and guidance to other peers. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Overall 7+ years of professional experience, including 4-6 years of experience in procurement or category support. Strong experience in supplier negotiations and cross-category collaboration Strong analytical, strategic, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building capabilities, Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Strong knowledge of procurement systems, ERP, and e-sourcing tools such as SAP, Ariba, or equivalent platforms.

Good communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers and stakeholders across global teams.
