- Develop and implement sourcing and portfolio strategies for Capital Investments and Manufacturing Real Estate & Facility Services (MREF) in alignment with Resmed's operational and strategic objectives
- Lead and develop a global team supporting Capital Investments and MREF portfolios across the Americas and APAC regions
- Partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain Engineering, Facilities, Operations, and Global Procurement stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business, facility, and infrastructure requirements
- Translate technical, operational, and construction requirements into effective sourcing and supplier strategies that balance performance, risk, and cost
- Lead sourcing activities, including RFQ and RFP processes, for capital equipment, automation systems, facility construction projects, infrastructure investments, utilities, and MREF services
- Develop long-term supplier strategies and commercial frameworks that drive innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable value
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage strategic supplier relationships to optimize quality, service, delivery, and cost performance
- Evaluate capital investment opportunities using total cost of ownership principles, including acquisition, installation, maintenance, service, warranty, operating, and lifecycle costs over 5-to-10-year planning horizons
- Lead sourcing strategies for manufacturing expansions, facility construction projects, infrastructure upgrades, and workplace investments to support business growth
- Influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership on sourcing, investment, and supplier-related decisions through strong commercial, financial, and strategic analysis
- Drive organizational objectives through effective leadership, talent development, performance management, and continuous improvement Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, category management, portfolio management, or related disciplines with significant exposure to Capital Investments, facility construction, and/or MREF categories
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical, operational
- project requirements into sourcing strategies, supported by strong commercial acumen, business case development, supplier management
- complex contract negotiations
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, automation systems, facility construction, utilities, and manufacturing infrastructure
- Experience managing capital investment portfolios and applying total cost of ownership, lifecycle cost modeling
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders Preferred:
- Experience in medical device, regulated manufacturing, or other highly regulated environments
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive investment decisions through financial and commercial analysis
- Addresses issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of own function and related disciplines
