- Job Title Platform System Engineer Job Description Your Role As a Platform System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, validating , deploying
- supporting enterprise IT infrastructure platforms that power healthcare imaging solutions, including PACS and Radiology Informatics systems. You will work closely with R&D, Product Engineering, Support
- Customer teams to ensure platform scalability, performance, reliability, security
- operational excellence across customer environments. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain platform architectures for enterprise healthcare imaging solutions. Define infrastructure standards, deployment models
- system sizing recommendations. Evaluate new technologies and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Support virtualization, storage, networking, operating systems
- cloud platforms. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, performance
- reliability issues. Develop automation scripts and tools to improve infrastructure moni toring and usage analytics . Participate in platform validation, performance testing
- capacity planning. Drive platform security, system hardening, patching
- compliance activities. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle. Support customer escalations, root cause analysis
- continuous improvement initiatives. You're the Right Fit If Experience 7+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, System Administration
- Solution Architecture. Experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise platforms. Experience working in global and cross-functional environments. Technical Skills Strong expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi , vCenter
- virtualization technologies. Good understanding of Windows Server and Linux platforms. Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, routing, switching, VPNs
- firewalls. Experience with enterprise storage technologies including SAN, NAS
- backup solutions. Experience with infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting
- performance tuning. Hands-on scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and/or Python. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) is an advantage. Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery
- business continuity concepts. Healthcare & Product Knowledge Experience with Healthcare IT, Medical Imaging, PACS, RIS, VNA, DICOM
- HL7 is preferred. Understanding of enterprise software deployment and product lifecycle processes. Experience with system documentation, BOMs, validation documents
- traceability matrices. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, presentation
- documentation abilities. Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architecture decisions. Self-driven with strong ownership and customer focus.
