Senior Manager - Product Support, Space Communications Programs Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity to be the Senior Program Manager, Product Support, Space Communications Programs (SCP) (Level L) reporting to the Senior Director, Space Communication Programs.

The Product Support Manager will join the Space Communication Programs team in El Segundo, CA. The Product Support Manager will have full and complete Responsibility, Accountability, and Authority (RAA) for the acquisition, execution, delivery, and successful management (Cost, Schedule, Technical, Risk) of on-orbit factory support activities for the Space Communication Programs portfolio and will include the role of General Manager for the Customer Operations Support Center.

This position has direct supervisory authority for leading a multi-functional team supporting customers after system handover. The organization includes: The Customer Operations Support Center (COSC), supporting commercial customers. On-orbit support contracts for US Government satellites (UHF F/O, MUOS, GOES, TDRS).

System and Ground support activities for the MEXSAT system. The SCP Insurance Office, supporting our customers and coordinating communication with the space insurance community. This leader will partner closely with the Satellite Mission Support Engineering organization for the technical skills and leadership to support fault detection & response, containment, and root cause / corrective action (RCCA) activities with customers.

The Product Support Manager will be fully responsible for the successful business performance of the portfolio including, but not limited to, revenue, earnings, orders, overhead and cash flow. Why join : Lead a high-impact function, shape long-term strategy, and influence enterprise priorities.

Position Responsibilities: Leading the multi-disciplinary teams responsible for on-orbit factory support across all Space Communications Programs. Set the vision and implement the strategies for execution of satellite and satellite systems support.

Guide the customer-facing leads in executing customer operations support through the Company-funded, commercial customer COSC and other direct support contracts, ensuring contract requirements are met and, where applicable, on-orbit incentives are captured.

Establish and maintain relationships with customer counterparts and the insurance community to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for future partnership. Identify and capture opportunities in value-added factory support services across the Space Communications Programs portfolio.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S.

Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Minimum 5 years of experience leading or managing cross functional teams. Minimum 5 years of experience in Program Management or IPT Leadership including cost, schedule, and technical management.

Experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in space/satellite systems. Experience with engineering and program management processes including business development, ground and mission engineering, integration and test.

Experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives. Ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated events.

Demonstrated skills in establishing, managing and administering multiple projects concurrently. Active Secret clearance is preferred This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
