Title and Summary Manager, HR Process Transformation & Architecture Overview The HR Journey and Process Architect role leads the design, standardization
- continuous improvement of global HR processes and employee journeys. Working across the end-to-end employee lifecycle, this role partners with HR leaders, Experience Owners, HR Technology, Service Delivery and regional stakeholders to diagnose current-state processes and design scalable future-state solutions to improve efficiency, compliance
- user experience. The role blends process architecture, lean methodology, service design
- stakeholder influence to deliver simplified, data-driven
- sustainable HR operations. Role: In this role you will:
- Lead the discovery, analysis, value stream analysis and redesign of key HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain clear as-is and future-state process models, taxonomies, and standards using BPM tools such as SAP Signavio or similar platforms.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and service design methodologies to identify inefficiencies, reduce friction, and improve both operational performance and employee experience.
- Partner closely with HR Technology, Workday, and service delivery teams to turn future-state designs into practical system and operating model solutions.
- Drive global process standardization while thoughtfully balancing local regulatory, compliance, and business needs.
- Use KPIs and process insights to shape recommendations, support transformation initiatives, and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost optimization.
- Build strong relationships across HR, operations, compliance, and technical teams to drive alignment, adoption, and sustainable change. All about you:
- Proven experience in HR process architecture, business process redesign, or service delivery transformation within a complex global organization.
- Strong proficiency with BPM and process modeling tools such as SAP Signavio, Celonis, ARIS, or similar.
- Solid understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, or systems thinking.
- Ability to translate process insights into clear requirements, practical roadmaps, and actionable change initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across business and technical audiences.
- A strategic, analytical, and delivery-focused mindset, with a track record of driving measurable operational improvement. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
