- Experience in providing technology client service
- Proven ability to use relevant data analytics approaches and tools to problem-solve and trouble-shoot.
- Knowledge & experience with Build languages
- Focus on quality and detail.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to quality and auditability It is expected that the role holder will most likely have the following qualifications and experience
- Agile software development practices
- DevOps capabilities
- Testing standards, tooling, automation
- Technical acumen in technologies associated with complex and deeply integrated systems eg : e2e domain, business logic and technology (framework/service architecture)
- Expert with CI/CD, TDD, BDD
- Expert in Quality Engineering
- APIs, microservices What you'll bring
- Perform hands-on design and implementation of best practice CI/CD
- Apply pro-actively a CI/CD mindset and corresponding cultural transformation.
- Work with delivery teams to achieve success through the adoption of CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes and tooling.
- Influence the delivery of best practice while maintaining Software Engineers ownership of their Software Delivery Tools, CI/CD and DevOps capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to maximise consistency of CI/CD tooling across the enterprise
- Promote collaboration (both internal and external to Service team) of Software Delivery Tools, Continuous Delivery and DevOps usage at NAB
- Implement and/or be responsible for Software Delivery Tool and Continuous Delivery Tool/s capabilities as in alignment with the roadmap
- Provide a stable and performing Software Delivery Tool and Continuous Delivery Tool platform, leveraging enterprise tools where appropriate for the Service
- Coaching and mentoring of other Service team members
- Improvement in automation of application deployments to production and pre-production release environments
- Evidence of continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts and systems
- Recognized as a key contributor to the innovation, development and implementation of changes relating to value control and reconciliations
- Evidence of potential cost savings through process simplification, optimization and automation
- Stakeholder engagement – recognised as ‘trusted advisor’ to the business
