- Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the product strategy and execution for AWIPL — Amazon's only 1P retail entity for B2B in India. AWIPL exists to solve a fundamentally hard problem: the tools and playbooks that power Amazon's B2C businesses were never designed for the B2B operating model. This is a zero-to-one product role. You will not inherit a mature product with an established tech stack. You will define what needs to be built, work with stakeholders for prioritization across 20+ cross-functional partner teams, write the BRDs and PRFAQs that make the business case
- own delivery end-to-end across multiple concurrent initiatives AWIPL serves two distinct B2B customer segments: SSR customers (small sole proprietors and independent retailers) and CPS customers (large enterprises like Infosys procuring at scale). Each segment has different selection, pricing, fulfillment
- neither is adequately served by existing Amazon B2C tooling. You will close that gap at the foundational level. The role carries broad scope and senior leadership visibility. You will present weekly to leadership team, align stakeholders across organizations
- operate in an environment where every product decision has a direct, measurable impact. Key job responsibilities -Own the AWIPL product roadmap acros, spanning tools parity and scalable growth capabilities -Write PRFAQs, BRDs
- technical intake documents to secure engineering capacity from partner teams including WW AB Tech, SCOT, Recommerce, FC Ops, Tax Engine
- FinOps. -Drive delivery of in-flight initiatives: -Define and execute the 3YF product vision. -Leverage AI and automation to shift AWIPL from reactive firefighting to predictive decision-making: WBR diagnostic platforms, causal knowledge graphs, predictive OOS models
- CPS deal workflow automation eliminating 100+ hours/month of manual coordination. -Communicate strategy, progress
- blockers to senior leaders weekly and align partner team leadership to prioritize AWIPL's roadmap asks above competing demands. About the team AWIPL is Amazon India's B2B retail entity, operating at the intersection of 1P retail and enterprise B2B. We are building Amazon Business India's supply chain from the ground up — solving problems that have no off-the-shelf answers, no existing playbooks
- no direct WW analogues. Our customers are Indian enterprises and retailers. Our opportunity is a $1.2T Indian retail market with only 7% e-commerce penetration and 15MM offline retailers underserved by traditional distribution.
- 6+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience as a product manager or owner - Experience owning technology products
