Key job responsibilities - Design and build innovative Prime Video features that run on Living Room devices (TVs, Set-top boxes) - Design and build tooling that enables device manufacturers to install, test and monitor Prime Video performance across install base of millions of customers - Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design
- bring to market innovative products and services - Leverage AI to deliver new features at speed - Deliver high-quality code and review output of others (incl. AI generated code) to maintain a high quality bar - Ensuring operational excellence through use of appropriate monitoring, alarms and release processes. - On-call responsibilities, including issue triage and resolution About the team The Device Partnerships organization works directly with third-party device manufacturers (e.g. Samsung, LG, Sony) and distributors to ensure that Prime Video works seamlessly on any living room device across the globe. Our team delivers features on these devices, to allow users to sign in and discover Prime Video content and offers before launching the app. Our team also provides tooling to support third-party and internal engineers to certify that Prime Video is running correctly on these devices
- to manage and monitor the software running on them.
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems - Experience in professional, non-internship software development - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++
- C# including object-oriented design
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing
