The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an SAP FI/CO Team Lead Specialist, you will provides technical expertise for key finance projects that require end-to-end finance knowledge and lead the Finance and Accounting (F&A) IT team by implementing best practices and providing technical guidance.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Your key responsibilities would be to: Lead and supervise the Finance and Accounting (F&A) IT team, providing technical guidance, support, and constructive performance feedback to drive individual and team effectiveness.

Foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment that encourages accountability, continuous improvement, and strong cross-functional partnership. Lead financial projects and participate in prioritized initiatives supporting SAP FI/CO configuration and customization to achieve business objectives.

Monitor and improve service delivery for financial projects to ensure the team meets expected SLAs and proactively reduces high-ticket volumes. Ensure regulatory compliance for financial projects through SOX control reporting, completion of required global compliance training, and adherence to internal standards.

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in implementing and supporting SAP FI/CO solutions.

Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP configuration and customization, with a strong emphasis on FI and CO modules. Minimum of 7+ years of IT experience supporting finance and controlling, accounting, treasury, or tax functions.

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role with the ability to guide teams effectively. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
