UM Administration Coordinator
Become a part of our caring community The UM Administration Coordinator 3 contributes to administration of utilization management. You will perform advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment.
You may apply intermediate mathematical skills. The UM Administration Coordinator 3 will report to the Manager, UM Administration. You will provide non-clinical support for the policies and procedures ensuring best and most appropriate treatment, care or services for members.
You will make decisions typically focused on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. You will regularly exercise discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques and work under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.
Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications 3 or more years administrative or technical support experience Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook in a Windows based environment and an ability to quickly learn new systems 25 mbps download speeds or higher to ensure connectivity and 10 upload - this is the speed requirement Proficient utilizing electronic medical record and documentation programs Proficient and/or experience with medical terminology and/or ICD-10 codes Preferred Qualifications Prior member service or customer service telephone experience Experience with Utilization Review and/or Prior Authorization, preferably within a managed care organization Additional Information This is a remote position.

In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
