- Amazon seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to play a key role on the Amazon Payment Products Finance team, primarily supporting the Installment Products and the broader Payment Products Marketing platform. Key job responsibilities The person in this role is responsible for long and short-term financial planning, controllership of our Installment Products and Payments Marketing Platform which we use to grow our financial services portfolio, driving a measurable P&L impact and creating an amazing customer experience. This role will support monthly financial reporting, develop and report on weekly financial and operational performance metrics
- providing analytical support for the Senior Business Management team. This position will be a key risk/controllership gateway for the payments organization and requires a candidate with strong communication and leadership skills. A portion of the time will be spent on ad hoc analysis to support the growing business needs. The finance team works closely with the business teams, so any candidate should be able to work well with cross functional teams. The ideal candidate must have superior attention to detail, project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical skills are required.
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics
- a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience - 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - MBA
