Configuration and Data Management / Technical Integration Engineer Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Configuration and Data Management / Technical Integration Engineer to support engineering, product delivery, and data/deliverables for the P-8 Program.
This BDS position reports to the P-8 Data Management Team as part of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team. This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA. The P-8 is a high-visibility, advanced commercial derivative military aircraft program supporting the U.S.
Navy and international customers. As a Configuration and Data Management / Technical Integration Engineer, you will be regularly working and interacting with the program teams, other divisions, various customers and/or suppliers. Position Responsibilities: Perform Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) activities in the support of the product baseline and delivery of the product.
Participate in the development, management, analysis and verification of process and product baselines including the integration, routine analysis and resolution of issues with engineering product structure. Execute Item Unique Identification (IUID) tasking that includes logging, tracking, reconciliation and resolution of issues in support of the program UID Plan and the product.
Interact regularly with the P-8 Program Teams, suppliers, various customers and other divisions in the execution of tasking. Utilize data gathered from customers and suppliers to assist in the definition of Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems.
Apply knowledge of basic engineering principles to help in the development and support of change proposals, change activities and integration. Contribute to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, systems and tools.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Computer Science, Engineering Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and suppliers in support of data and product delivery.
Experience working/interacting with suppliers and their deliverables. Engineering Product Lifecycle Management knowledge. UID knowledge. Relocation: This position offers relocation assistance. Pay Summary: Level 2: $90,950-$123,050 Level 3: $111,350-$150,650 Language Requirements: Not Applicable Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
