  • The Difference You will Make:
  • We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative
  • creative Influencer Manager to lead execution of Airbnb's influencer strategy in Germany. In this role, you'll localize regional priorities and deliver best-in-class campaigns that connect Airbnb to culturally relevant conversations and communities.
  • You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day influencer execution: identifying and nurturing creator relationships, leading campaigns end-to-end, overseeing briefing and contracting
  • partnering closely with internal stakeholders and agency teams. Critically, you'll help position influencer not just as a commercial lever but as a long-term vehicle for brand health – building authentic, human stories that strengthen Airbnb's reputation and reflect our values over time.
  • This is a hands-on role for someone passionate and knowledgeable about the power of influencer marketing and who knows how to translate brand objectives into content that is native, thumb-stopping and earns influence, not interrupts.
  • A Typical Day:
  • Execute local influencer campaigns aligned to regional and global priorities, owning timelines, creative execution, and performance tracking
  • Build and manage strong relationships with creators – from up-and-coming talent to seasoned partners – to ensure authentic storytelling and long-term brand advocacy
  • Identify and vet influencers for brand and campaign fit across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring inclusive, culturally relevant casting
  • Draft clear, strategic briefs that reflect campaign objectives, key messages, and content guidelines
  • Partner with legal and agency teams to draft and negotiate influencer contracts, including deliverables, usage rights, paid media options, exclusivity, and payment
  • Identify potential opportunities for collaboration with key opinion formers including policy, cultural and news influencers and third party validators
  • build out the policy influencer programme in Germany, including how and when we work with agencies to execute
  • Develop and execute Force for Good campaigns that bring Airbnb’s values to life through creator voices – from community impact and hosting stories to sustainability and belonging – demonstrating that brand purpose and commercial results are the same argument made well
  • Collaborate with internal teams (consumer comms, policy, social, marketing, legal, and community) to ensure seamless campaign delivery
  • Manage all logistics for influencer stays or experiences – including vetting, Host coordination, credit/coupon approvals
  • Lead influencer onboarding and content reviews to ensure quality and alignment with Airbnb brand standards
  • Track influencer performance across both commercial and brand health metrics
  • deliver regular updates to the regional team and support the creation of end-of-campaign reports across all social channels (with support from agency)
  • Work with the Marketing, Partnerships, and Growth teams and regional influencer lead to align plans, avoid duplication of efforts, and maximise impact of our influencer campaigns
  • Partner with the policy team and policy comms manager to ideate and create strong reputation-building campaigns through relevant key opinion leaders, political and economic influencers, and industry experts
  • Stay plugged into culture and trends: bringing forward creator ideas, campaign hooks, and reactive opportunities in real time
  • Monitor performance using tools such as CreatorIQ and Sprinklr; partner with agency to optimise campaigns accordingly
  • Your Expertise:
  • 10+ years of experience in influencer marketing, talent partnerships, or social-first content strategy
  • A deep understanding of the creator landscape in Germany and strong instincts on what content resonates and why
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end influencer campaigns: from sourcing and briefing to contracting and performance analysis
  • Experience working with social platforms including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Confident managing external agencies and multiple stakeholders across legal, marketing, and comms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, in both German & English; experience writing briefs and reviewing content
  • Comfortable with creator negotiations, including deliverables, usage rights, and paid media
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing tools (CreatorIQ, Sprinklr or similar) and reporting best practices – including brand health and sentiment metrics, not just reach and engagement
  • Able to juggle multiple campaigns, creators, and deliverables at once while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Passion for values-led storytelling and brand building through the creator economy; genuine belief in the power of influencer to build long-term brand equity, not just drive short-term performance

The base pay range shown below is annualized, is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits
