We seek to continuously improve the tools and processes used in integrating human rights and environmental due diligence across the business. We are looking for a Principal leader to manage internal business relationships sitting at the intersection of Amazon’s businesses and the HRSI team. The Principal will lead a small team of Regional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in India who provide support to regional business teams as they integrate human rights risk management into their businesses. This leader will support multiple complex relationships across the company
- be tasked to address new business issues as they arise by working with HRSI and legal to translate problems and integrate effective solutions with an eye toward automation, scalability

- program-wide strategies and initiatives. The Principal, IN Lead, will be a major player in key program developments across our team, including communicating industry initiatives
- working with external stakeholders to manage Amazon’s growing and diverse supply chain. This person will be responsible for influencing without authority broadly across Amazon. Key job responsibilities - Lead a team of regional SMEs providing human rights support across the globe to WW Ops business teams - Coordinate with multiple Amazon businesses and functions across India, as well as third-party human rights service providers and suppliers - Lead cross functional teams across Amazon business units and support teams to enhance and evolve programs to drive measurable improvements on process efficiency and improvements - Analyze program data and anecdotes (such as escalation data, audit findings, training data, etc.) to drive decisions, make improvements, spot trends

- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development) - Experience in supply chain, commodity
- supplier management in a high volume, global sourcing and operations manufacturing environment with a global supply base of contract manufacturers - 10+ years’ experience in regulatory compliance, ESG reporting, corporate social responsibility, human rights due diligence
- related fields. - Extensive years of experience at a senior level, working on human rights, labor rights, multi-stakeholder initiatives, international development, labor rights training
- social responsibility
- Master's degree or above in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development) - Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation
- a related field - Experience using lean process improvement, six sigma methodologies
- related performance metrics/process improvements to increase efficiency within processes, forecasting, planning, optimization
