Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams, with a focus on .NET technologies.
- Drive platform mindset through operational excellence, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Champion proactive monitoring, observability, and reliability practices including SLOs, autoscaling, and post-mortems.
- Promote cross-team collaboration and developer experience through strategic platform adoption and feedback loops.
- Embed FinOps practices and drive cost optimisation through data-driven decisions.
- Advocate for future-proof architecture including event-driven and composable design.
- Ensure safety and security by fostering a DevSecOps culture and integrating Zero Trust principles.
- Apply NAB architecture design standards and contribute to reusable, consistent technology solutions.
- Lead technical writing efforts that translate complex insights into actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage requirements effectively, balancing business needs with technical feasibility and iterative delivery.
- Apply systems thinking to anticipate downstream impacts and interdependencies across domains. Requirements:
- Proven experience leading .NET teams in enterprise environments.
- Strong technical background in software development, cloud technologies, and modern architecture patterns.
- Demonstrated capability in platform reliability, cost optimisation, and security-first design.
- Experience with architectural frameworks and technical documentation standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
