Job Title: Junior Associate/Associate – Data Steward (Reltio MDM) Career Level: C1/C2 Introduction to role: Are you ready to elevate the quality of customer and provider data that powers meaningful interactions across our business and, ultimately, supports better outcomes for patients?
Do you want to own the accuracy and integrity of master data so that analytics, segmentation, and compliant engagement move faster and with confidence? Based in Chennai, you will join a globally connected team focused on trusted data in CRM and MDM.
You will steward critical data domains, standardize and cleanse records, and resolve complex data change requests so our commercial and medical teams can act decisively. Your work will convert fragmented information into reliable, actionable intelligence—reducing risk, sharpening insight, and accelerating decisions across the enterprise.
Accountabilities: - Data Quality Management: Own the integrity of CRM and MDM data by standardizing, cleansing, and de-duplicating records; manually update attributes of US managed records via DCR to improve core data. - DCR Processing and Governance: Manage Customer Data Change Requests; ensure timeliness and adherence to standard operating procedures; apply Business and Compliance Rules; document actions and maintain required notation. - Data Verification and Enrichment: Reach out via phone/email to requesters and users for informational updates and proof; apply new verified data elements to core database records; assure new elements are not duplications; accurately list newly applied data elements; remove incorrect data elements and records. - MDM–CRM Alignment: Maintain CRM and MDM aligned in Customer Data; monitor the flow of data between MDM, CRM and other databases for accuracy and data quality; coordinate via Service Requests for tasks required in MDM and CRM to be done by IT teams. - Regulatory and Privacy Compliance: Process GDPR related requests (opt-outs from Open Data, opt-outs from Alexion); ensure data handling aligns with compliance standards. - Operational Excellence: Perform daily CRM/MDM maintenance and project-based tasks, including resolving data issues and running data quality searches; take additional external research steps as needed; enter and validate accounts, professionals and other client information considering CRM transactions such as Calls, Consent, and Events attendance. - Peer Review and Reporting: Audit the data quality of peers (other Data Stewards) to strengthen standards; report progress to direct line manager with clear metrics and insights. - Process Design and Enablement: Develop, implement, and maintain data quality processes, training, and reference materials; follow data quality rules and processes to remove duplicate data, cleanse inaccurate data, standardize data entries, and schedule data analysis reports. - Insight and Tooling: Understand the current state of data providers and how data is entered into the CRM/MDM by various user profiles and application interfaces; plan priority areas of improvement and select tools needed to support data quality programs (e.g., reporting); develop a cadence of regular database maintenance. - Automation and Continuous Improvement: Contribute to initiatives that automate recurring data quality tasks and streamline/standardize dimensions needed for reporting and analysis—scaling your impact over time.
Essential Skills/Experience: - 3 years of experience in a similar role - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Strong knowledge on databases and database concepts, SQL, analytical tools - Familiarity with MS Office Tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Document processes and adhere to standard operating procedures and processes - Basic project management skills and be detail oriented - Capable of managing multiple projects/requests simultaneously - Work in teams, Collaborate and ensure Compliance - Basic to limited exposure to issue/ticket management and/or tracking tools (ex: JIRA, ServiceNow) Desirable Skills/Experience: - Exposure to MDM tools and systems – Informatica, Reltio & Veeva - Familiarity with tools like QLIK, PowerBI - Industry Data knowledge – OneKey, Veeva Open Data, Definitive Health Care data, Payer Data etc.
