Job Description
We’re looking for a Workforce Planning Analyst, Stores to play a key role in shaping workforce strategies across TJX Canada by redefining associate and labour data into meaningful insights. In this role, you’ll develop innovative reporting and data visualization solutions that help business leaders make informed decisions about staffing, payroll, and labour planning.

What You’ll Do
- Collects and analyzes data related to the preparation and execution of the workforce planning processes to inform store payroll
- this role partners with the operations group and finance to help prepare the annual store payroll budget and labor-related projects.
- Analyzes, compares, and resolves scheduling data issues between the budgeting and scheduling platforms continuously, ensuring variances are within acceptable standards.
- Assists with the preparation of the annual payroll budget as it relates to data gathering and building scenarios.
- Analyzes and recommends time intervals for specific store tasks (i.e. receiving, processing, merchandising, and markdowns) to ensure appropriate head count assigned based on store volumes.
- Collaborates with Store Operations teams on traffic, payroll, and scheduling recommendations; works closely with Loss Prevention on sales and register analysis.
- About You: Minimum two (2) years workforce planning and or financial modelling, analysis experience required.
- Post secondary degree in Business Management, Computer Science and or Accounting/Finance preferred.
- Strong organizational skills including change management, time management; ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, and multi-task with limited supervision and under time pressure.
- Excellent analytical skills, creates understandable visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models for various target audiences, simplifying eye for business.
- Understands workforce management to effectively provide workforce planning data, analytics, and resource management services to meet business needs.
