As a Software Development Engineer III, you'll work at the intersection of modern search technologies and distributed systems, collaborating closely with applied scientists to design scalable semantic search experiences. You'll engage with product managers to translate their vision into technical roadmaps and work-backwards documents, then collaborate with engineering leaders to prioritize initiatives. Throughout the day, you'll work hands-on with engineers across multiple programs, reviewing designs and code to ensure quality. You'll coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to establish robust testing strategies, ensuring features meet high standards before reaching customers. - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing
