Job Title: System Integration Engineer Travel: Local Anticipated Posting End: 7/10/2027 The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer who excels at solving complex problems, integrating systems, and designing intelligent software-enabled solutions that improve mission outcomes.
This role requires someone who can think strategically while executing tactically—translating evolving operational needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in dynamic mission environments, enjoys collaborating across technical and operational teams, and understands how individual efforts contribute to broader organizational objectives.
This position supports sensitive national security programs and requires a current TS/SCI security clearance. Candidates with an active CI Polygraph are strongly preferred; however, qualified candidates who are eligible and willing to obtain a CI Polygraph are encouraged to apply

Required
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with active CI Polygraph or the ability and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience) Available to work in-person in an office environment at CACI facilities in Sterling, VA or Denver, CO 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, systems integration, solution architecture
- related technical disciplines 3+ years of experience with mission management applications or enterprise data integration Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and operational problems Experience integrating software applications, enterprise systems, APIs, databases
- distributed technologies Experience with system testing and familiarity with automated application testing frameworks Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and the system development lifecycle Experience designing or implementing automation that improves operational efficiency and reduces manual effort Strong technical writing skills with experience producing architecture documentation, interface control documents, system diagrams, procedures
- engineering artifacts Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to rapidly adapt to changing priorities while maintaining alignment with strategic mission objectives Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize work, manage multiple efforts
- deliver high-quality solutions in dynamic environments Experience with Agile development methodologies and the Atlassian Suite tools (Jira, Confluence) Desired: Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of War (DoW) organizations Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Familiarity with PowerShell, JavaScript, Java
- similar programming and scripting languages Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, message queues
- distributed system architectures Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), enterprise architecture
