Associate Compensation Director
Job Overview The Associate Compensation Director is a responsible for supporting enterprise-wide compensation programs, corporate client groups, and compensation transformation initiatives. This role provides consultative compensation support to Corporate Functions, including Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Development, and senior executive stakeholders, while driving the modernization and scalability of compensation programs globally.
Working closely with the Senior Director, Compensation, the incumbent will lead complex compensation analyses, support executive and broad-based compensation decision-making, manage high-visibility compensation projects, and partner across Human Resources, Finance, HRIS, HR Shared Services, and other Centers of Excellence to improve compensation processes, governance, and outcomes.
The role will also play a key leadership role in advancing Compensation Transformation initiatives through process optimization, technology enhancements, automation, AI adoption, and change management. This position requires exceptional analytical capability, sound judgment, business acumen, project leadership skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including senior executives.
Essential Functions Enterprise & Corporate Compensation Support Serve as a strategic compensation partner to Corporate Functions, including Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Development, and other executive client groups. Provide consultation and recommendations related to base pay, incentive compensation, promotions, market adjustments, organizational changes, hiring decisions, and internal equity matters.
Develop and present compensation analyses and recommendations for senior leaders and executive stakeholders. Support executive compensation processes and governance activities as assigned. Lead highly confidential compensation analyses and reporting activities, including enterprise compensation reporting and regulatory requirements.
Compensation Programs & Analytics Support the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of global compensation programs and processes. Perform complex compensation benchmarking, workforce analytics, and financial modeling activities.
Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, dashboards, and compensation insights to support business decision-making. Support annual compensation planning processes, including merit, bonus, promotion, and market adjustment programs. Partner with Finance to support compensation budgeting, accrual calculations, and other compensation-related financial analyses.
Compensation Transformation & Process Improvement Lead compensation transformation initiatives focused on process simplification, scalability, governance, automation, and operational excellence. Identify and implement opportunities to leverage technology, artificial intelligence, workflow automation, and data analytics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Partner with HRIS, HR Shared Services, HR Partners, and other stakeholders to design and implement compensation system enhancements and process improvements. Manage cross-functional compensation projects and change management activities from concept through implementation.
Establish and document global standards, procedures, and best practices to improve consistency and compliance across compensation programs. Project Leadership & Governance Lead complex compensation projects involving multiple stakeholders and global teams.
Support organizational changes, job architecture initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic business projects. Ensure compensation practices align with company policies, governance standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Build strong partnerships across Human Resources, Finance, and business leadership teams to drive successful outcomes. We appreciate your honesty and professionalism. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $84,100.00 - $234,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
