Lead P-8A Support Equipment Technician Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services is seeking a Lead P-8A Support Equipment Technician to support the USN P-8 program. This is a position is located in NAS Point Mugu, CA. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Responsibilities include: Leads the assembly, disassembly and modification of systems by overseeing the change, removal, replacement or upgrade of aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.

Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. Directs troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

Oversees validation/verification testing of systems and components. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).

Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Leads and supervises others to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Provides training and mentors others.

Works under minimal direction. Basic Qualifications (required skill/experience): Minimum of 5 years' experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment. Experience with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Maintenance Programs and Operating Procedures Minimum of 3 years' experience leading or managing a team in a multi-skill discipline Ability to work all shifts of a 24/7 work schedule.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice. Preferred Qualifications (desired skills and experience): Experience using Microsoft Office Applications. Experience as a Collateral Duty Inspector General automotive servicing experience with an electrical, hydraulic, and internal combustion engine background.
