All Job Posting Locations: Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany Job Description: JOB SUMMARY The Manager, Production leads the daily operations of manufacturing by managing schedules, resources, and staff to meet production targets. This role ensures adherence to QSR standards, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and supports cross-functional collaboration for efficient and compliant product delivery and operational excellence.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: Lead, coach, and develop production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory objectives while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, health, safety, environmental (HSE), and company requirements, including FDA QSR, ISO standards, GMP/GDP, and applicable policies and procedures, while maintaining audit readiness and accurate documentation.

Own and improve operational performance through KPI management, production execution, capacity planning, inventory control, and business continuity planning. Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.

Manage staffing, equipment, materials, and budgets to meet operational and customer delivery commitments. Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, process improvements, and successful implementation of new products, equipment, and technologies.

Communicate performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership and key stakeholders. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered. 6+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a medical device and/or cleanroom environment.

Demonstrated leadership or people management experience preferred REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS Strong leadership, team-building, communication, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Good knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Proven critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to drive results through sound judgment and data-driven decision-making. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies; Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience preferred.
