Head of Group AI, Partnerships
Role/Team overview The Group AI team owns Sky's enterprise-wide AI ambition, strategy and roadmap to deliver meaningful business value. The team works closely with senior stakeholders to embed AI into the fabric of how Sky operates, manages key external AI partnerships and ensures alignment with Comcast / NBCU.
Reporting to the Group AI Director, Partnerships & Engagement, the Head of Group AI, Partnerships is responsible for managing Sky's AI partner portfolio, coordinating engagement across oru AI ecosystem and helping turn external insight into practical opportunities for Sky.
The role supports the Director's ownership of Sky's broader AI brand, narrative and external presence by ensuring partner activity, market intelligence and cross-group collaboration are well organised, outcome-focused and aligned to Sky's AI priorities.
Success Measures: Priority partnerships generate tangible opportunities, pilots, proofs of value or delivery outcomes for Sky. Strength, depth and relevance of Sky's partnerships across hyperscalers, model providers, investors and start-ups/scale-ups.
Clearer executive visibility of partner value, priority opportunities and reuse across Sky, Comcast and NBCU. What you’ll do AI Ecosystem & Partnerships Develop and maintain a clear view of the external AI landscape, including competitor moves, emerging models, investor and start-up signals, to inform partner priorities and recommendations.
Manage day-to-day relationships with priority AI partners and ecosystem players, ensuring engagement is structured, purposeful and focused on the opportunities that matter most for Sky. Coordinate priority partner engagement, including executive sessions, pilots, commercial opportunities and delivery follow-up.
Shape agendas and organise strategic AI immersion trips that connect leaders with the right partners, ideas and use cases to inform Sky’s AI ambition and priorities. Group & Market Alignment Coordinate the forums, networks and ways of working that connect Sky's markets and the wider Comcast/NBCU group around shared AI partner priorities.
Broker knowledge-sharing and reuse of successful AI initiatives to accelerate delivery, reduce duplication and increase the value of cross-group collaboration. Portfolio & Value Management Maintain a joined-up view of Sky's strategic AI partnerships and initiatives, with a clear cadence for partner reviews, pipeline management, prioritisation and follow-up.
Track and communicate the strategic and commercial value delivered through partnerships and cross-group collaboration, providing clear inputs for senior updates, choices and recommendations. What you’ll bring Significant experience building and managing strategic partnerships, alliances or external relationships within a complex corporate environment.
Strong understanding of the evolving AI landscape, including major technology players, model providers, hyperscalers, start-ups, scale-ups, investors and emerging industry trends. Proven ability to support senior stakeholder engagement and coordinate collaboration across internal teams, external partners and multiple markets.
Strong strategic, commercial and responsible AI judgement, with experience assessing opportunities and prioritising where partnerships create the greatest value. Experience using data and insight to measure the impact of partnerships and demonstrate progress against outcomes.
