Job Summary KBR is seeking two detail-oriented Physical Inventory Specialists (Temporary) to support a six-month inventory project. In this role, you will perform physical inventory activities, scan and verify assets, reconcile inventory records, and enter data into enterprise property management systems.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with inventory systems and Excel, and capable of maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced operational environment. This position requires a hands-on approach, adherence to established procedures, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.

Roles & Responsibilities Conduct physical inventory counts of assets and materials across designated locations. Scan property and inventory items using handheld scanners and input data into property management systems.

Verify inventory records and ensure accuracy between physical counts and system records. Identify, document, and report inventory discrepancies for investigation and resolution. Maintain organized inventory storage areas and ensure proper asset identification and tracking.

Perform data entry, data validation, and data cleanup activities within inventory management systems. Utilize SAP, eQuip, Excel, and other inventory management tools to update and maintain records. Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), inventory controls, and audit requirements.

Coordinate with operations, property management, and other departments to resolve inventory-related issues. Support inventory audits and compliance reviews as required. Maintain a safe work environment while handling inventory and materials.

Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience performing physical inventory, asset management, warehouse operations, or inventory control activities. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic data manipulation.

Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar inventory/property management software. Experience using handheld barcode scanners or electronic inventory tracking tools. Ability to follow established procedures, work instructions, and audit requirements with a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to lift, carry, move, and organize inventory items and remain standing or walking for extended periods. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Low-Risk / Non-Sensitive clearance. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience using eQuip property management software.

Working knowledge of SAP for material management and inventory transactions. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and data analysis functions. Experience supporting government property, material management, or asset accountability programs.

Experience participating in inventory audits, reconciliations, and compliance reviews. Strong experience working in cross-functional inventory or logistics environments.
