This role sits at the intersection of media strategy, executive influence, and earned creator programs - owning the infrastructure and playbooks that drive Salesforce's narrative from marquee events to always-on thought leadership. This is a hybrid role with three days in office each week.
What You'll Actually Be Doing Own integrated media strategy across marquee moments - including product launches, major events, and earnings cycles - developing the "big stories" framework and editorial relationships that drive tier-one coverage and measurable business outcomes Build and lead earned influencer programs that cultivate authentic relationships with top B2B creators, podcasters, and next-gen media voices, and architect the infrastructure to scale those programs globally Advise and prepare executive leadership for high-stakes media interactions, proactive risk mitigation, and complex, multi-stakeholder scenarios - turning difficult coverage into fair and favorable positioning Connect thought leadership programs to product go-to-market moments, driving category creation, media amplification, and pipeline - not just awareness You're Our Person If...
You have 15+ years of corporate communications experience at a top-tier technology company, with a track record of leading high-impact media and thought leadership programs You've built communications programs from scratch - including narrative development, media strategy, and influencer infrastructure - that generate verifiable business outcomes You have deep expertise in crisis communications and managing sensitive, high-stakes scenarios under tight deadlines You have strong, established relationships with reporters at outlets like the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Bloomberg, Fortune, and CNBC, and with creators across next-gen media platforms Even Better If...

The typical base salary range for this position is $164,000 - $261,500 annually. 

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
