Team and Opportunity The Readiness and Delivery Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering strategic initiatives, product and process enhancements, operational change and business readiness.

This role works with third party vendors and internal teams to lead initiatives. They will provide support to other specialists within the team while also flexing up to support the manager with planning, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives.

The Specialist is expected to lean into operational tasks as needed, ensuring seamless delivery and readiness across the team. Key Responsibilities Change Management & Readiness Lead and coordinate effort and readiness activities for process, system, and legislative changes, in support of corporate, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring operational teams are fully prepared.

Contributes to project planning, coordination, and delivery. Works with relevant stakeholders to determine the scope, requirements, and solutions for assigned initiatives and ensures integration with other program work streams and enterprise project teams.

Meets established project milestones, goals and objectives within established time frames by utilising a disciplined approach to delivering within budget and timelines. Develop and review documentation, training materials, and readiness checklists; ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.

Support in executing testing (UAT, regression, process validation), documentation, and go-live activities. Identify risks and issues, escalate as appropriate, and contribute to mitigation planning. Pro-actively work in partnership with other teams to resolve issues.

Continuous Improvement Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and risk reduction. Facilitate root cause analysis and support the implementation of corrective actions. Track and report on improvement initiatives, sharing learnings and best practices with the team.

Team Support & Leadership Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development. Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with stakeholders (Operations, Risk, Technology, Vendors, Partnerships) to coordinate readiness activities and communicate changes.

Support the manager in stakeholder engagement, reporting (senior management and Board), and preparation of materials for governance forums. Flexibility & Delivery Flex up to support the Manager with planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives as required.

Key Skills & Attributes Strong knowledge of operational readiness, change management, and process improvement. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills. Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.

Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs. Proactive, collaborative, and willing to take ownership of outcomes. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support team members. Experience & Qualifications Minimum of two years related work experience in operations, change management, or process improvement (financial services or superannuation sector preferred).

Prior experience with business requirements, testing, documentation, and readiness activities. Familiarity with regulatory and legislative change processes. Prior experience mentoring or guiding team members is highly regarded. Tertiary qualifications in business, operations, or a related field are desirable.
