Job Title: C# Developer Travel: Continental US * * * Bring your C# software development skills to our defense engineering team to support a critical Automated Test Equipment (ATE) development to support Air Force aerospace and defense systems in San Antonio, TX.
Work hands-on with hardware and software, to create libraries that will control and automate test and measurement devices. Grow your career in defense contracting while directly supporting aircraft sustainment programs through software development
Responsibilities
Develop libraries to control test instruments (Digital Multimeters, DAQ systems, Matrix switches) using C# .NET 10 Convert libraries written in C to C# Implement methods in C# that perform measurements (voltage, current, resistance, digital patterns) for avionics systems Read manufacturer programmer manuals to implement instrument library functions Verify C# library functionality in a laboratory environment Qualifications
Required
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field 3 or more years of professional C# programming experience 3 or more years of experience with .NET Framework / .NET Core (experience with modern .NET versions) Strong understanding of C# fundamentals (classes, methods, attributes, JSON serialization) Experience working with JSON file formats Demonstrated problem-solving and debugging skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality Willing and able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (U.S.
- Citizenship required) Willing to work onsite in San Antonio, TX Desired: Air Force, Military or Defense Contracting experience Basic electronics knowledge (voltage, current, resistance, digital I/O concepts) Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and test requirements Background in electronics testing or test engineering Familiarity with test & measurement instruments (DMMs, oscilloscopes, DAQs, etc.) Experience with National Instruments hardware or software Familiarity with Git version control Experience with C development - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
