- The Automated Reasoning Group applies mathematical and logical methods to verify computing systems, placing limits on their permitted runtime behaviours. Bespoke Proofs, a sub-team within the Automated Reasoning Group, applies these techniques to high-value software across AWS, typically low-level code such as machine code cryptography implementations and hypervisors. Key job responsibilities - Contribute to research initiatives in automated reasoning, formal verification, SMT solving, model checking
- program analysis - Design and implement novel algorithms and techniques that advance the state of the art - Collaborate with product teams to transition research into production systems
- PhD, or a Master's degree and experience in CS, CE, ML or related field - Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
