About this role: The Capital Management Team is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to support capital strategy, advocacy, and stress testing analytics. This role will help deliver analysis, insights, and messaging that inform capital planning, regulatory readiness, and strategic decision-making.
The individual will partner closely across Treasury, Finance, and Risk in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to a broad range of initiatives related to capital adequacy, stress testing, risk-weighted assets (RWA), and evolving regulatory expectations
In This Role, You Will
- Support capital strategy initiatives, including analysis of capital adequacy, capital actions, and strategic implications across planning horizons.
- Contribute to stress testing analytics and reporting, including baseline and stressed capital assessments, scenario analysis, and management insights.
- Assist with capital advocacy efforts by preparing clear, concise materials and messaging for senior management, governance forums, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Partner across Treasury, Finance, and Risk to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and coordinate deliverables related to capital planning and forecasting.
- Analyze drivers of capital, RWA, leverage exposure, and related metrics to support business and regulatory decision-making.
- Help interpret new and evolving regulations and assess potential impacts on capital planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Support the preparation of presentations, briefing materials, and executive summaries that translate complex analysis into clear business messaging.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance analytics, and strengthen documentation and controls within the capital management framework.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by working effectively across functions and adapting quickly to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Treasury experience
- equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Relevant experience in Treasury, Capital Management, Finance, Risk
- related analytical function.
- Understanding of capital management, treasury, stress testing, and regulatory capital concepts.
- Knowledge of RWA, leverage exposure, and capital-related regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with CCAR, recovery and resolution, or other regulatory stress testing processes.
- Exposure to new or evolving banking regulations and the ability to assess business impacts.
- Experience in preparing management or governance materials for senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in a highly regulated financial services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large or complex data sets.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, including distilling complex topics into concise messaging and executive level presentation decks in PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across a variety of teams and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; expertise in AI driven tools like CoPilot and PowerApps is a plus.
- Job Expectations: This position works 5 days a week from our 401 S.
- Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC location.
