About the Team The Global Multi-Asset Solutions & Model Portfolios (GMAS) team is responsible for the commercialization, customization, and delivery of SSIM's model portfolio solutions across RIAs, broker-dealers, platforms, and institutional partners.
The team works closely with Investment Solutions Group (ISG), Sales, Product, Research, and strategic partners to develop and scale innovative portfolio solutions for clients globally. We are seeking a highly motivated Officer to join our growing team in Boston.
This client-facing role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with advisors, support strategic growth initiatives, and contribute to the development of one of the industry's fastest-growing model portfolio businesses. Position Summary This role sits at the intersection of client service, business development, and strategic planning.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior members of the GMAS team to support onboarding and growth of custom model portfolio relationships, provide market intelligence and analytical support to model strategists, and contribute to key strategic initiatives across the business.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly organized, comfortable interacting with clients, and enthusiastic about leveraging technology and AI to improve efficiency and scale. Key Responsibilities Custom Models & Client Implementation (Approximately 50%) Partner with senior team members to support onboarding and ongoing servicing of RIA and strategic partner relationships.
Coordinate the launch and implementation of custom model portfolio solutions. Support advisor activation, adoption, and engagement efforts after model launches. Assist in developing client presentations, portfolio proposals, trade rationale materials, and custom collateral.
Serve as a key liaison across Sales, Investment Solutions Group, Product, Operations, and external partners to ensure smooth execution. Monitor onboarding timelines, project milestones, and client deliverables. Sales Support, Market Intelligence & Growth Initiatives (Approximately 25%) Support Model Strategists with prospecting efforts, sales opportunities, and client follow-up activities.
Develop market trend analyses, competitive intelligence, and industry insights. Identify sales opportunities through client, platform, and market research. Create presentations and analytical content for internal and external meetings. Assist with conference preparation, pipeline tracking, and strategic partner reviews.
Strategic Planning & Business Development (Approximately 25%) Work directly with the Head of Global Multi-Asset Solutions & Model Portfolios on strategic initiatives. Support business planning, partnership evaluations, competitive assessments, and market opportunity analyses.
Help develop management presentations, business updates, and growth plans. Assist with AI-driven initiatives designed to enhance client experience, operational efficiency, and business intelligence. Contribute to projects that improve scalability, reporting, and advisor engagement across the GMAS platform.
Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. 3–6 years of experience in investment management, wealth management, consulting, financial services, or related fields. Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Familiarity with model portfolios, asset allocation, ETFs, managed accounts, or investment advisory platforms. Experience supporting RIAs, wealth management firms, or intermediary distribution channels. Experience working with CRM systems, business intelligence tools, or data analytics platforms.
Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and technology-enabled business solutions. Progress toward CFA, CAIA, CFP, or similar designation is a plus. What Success Looks Like Successful candidates will: Become a trusted partner to advisors and strategic clients.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $118,750 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
