Graduate Applications Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assess customer applications to understand appropriate product specifications.
• Review incoming orders for correct technical and commercial alignment.
• Prepare accurate proposals, including technical configurations and cost calculations.
• Enter order details into ERP/IT systems and prepare formal order acknowledgments.
• Resolve technical, application-related or delivery concerns Engage with customers to secure drawing approvals for complex orders.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is created for sales support, manufacturing, testing and compliance.
• Maintain an organized database of machine drawings and past designs.
• Provide input for design guide updates and suggest improvements.
• Assist in product testing to validate customer requirements are met.
• Participate in technical enquiry meetings to support the sales process.
• Position Requirements Essential : Engineering or technical education Ability to manage high-volume customer interactions and complex sales order processes, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction Demonstrable problem-solving skills High attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills applied confidently at all levels Proficient in using related software e.g.
• Microsoft Office Excel to high level.
