The Global Investment Office (GIO) is the investment and research hub within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, comprising more than 250 analysts, strategists, and planners dedicated to supporting financial advisors and their clients. Led by the Wealth Management CIO, GIO develops the firm’s investment strategy by integrating financial planning, asset allocation, and portfolio construction insights.

Serving as an extension of an advisor’s practice, GIO provides the tools, research, and intellectual capital to help advisors deepen client engagement, enhance investment performance, scale their businesses, and drive growth across all client segments.

We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented leader to lead Platform Growth & Distribution for the Investing with Impact team. This individual will lead scalable commercialization across the platform by coordinating advisor engagement, marketing and communications alignment, training and educational initiatives, business development execution, and centralized field engagement.

Position Summary This role requires a strong commercial and strategic thinker who can connect long-term platform priorities with execution, drive alignment across senior stakeholders, and help scale Investing with Impact adoption across advisor teams and distribution channels.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, highly collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where new commercialization, education, and field engagement approaches are continuously being developed. A passion for sustainability, impact investing, and purpose-driven work is essential, as this role will help support and scale initiatives aligned with the team's mission and long-term vision.

This individual will also coordinate integration of the Impact Alternatives Growth Strategy function to ensure consistent commercialization execution across the broader platform. Primary Responsibilities Lead strategy for our patented Impact Reporting tool Identify growth opportunities across the platform and support prioritization of strategic initiatives Build strategic project plans, manage timelines, and drive accountability across multiple workstreams Improve internal processes for scalability, consistency, and operational effectiveness Lead strategy for engaging key Financial Advisor teams and distribution partners on Investing with Impact Develop executive-level presentations, strategic materials, and communications for leadership and field audiences Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable strategies and messaging Lead event planning for road shows and the annual in-person gathering for Impact Directors Manage a small team Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and solutions-oriented team culture Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in financial services, asset management, consulting, strategy, sustainability, distribution, or related fields preferred Demonstrated passion for sustainability, impact investing, and purpose-driven work Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives Experience building and scaling strategic programs, commercialization models, engagement models, or operational processes Experience managing and developing teams Comfortable operating in fast-paced and evolving environments SIE, Series 7/66 preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire Skills Desired Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities Strong project management and organizational abilities Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams Excellent executive communication and PowerPoint/presentation development skills Ability to influence and drive alignment across senior stakeholders Strong commercialization, advisor engagement, and distribution strategy capabilities WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.

However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
