This role is about building the business on top of that momentum. As Country Leader, India, you will shape and lead Deepgram's go-to-market in the country: growing revenue across the full spectrum of the market, building the team that delivers it, and becoming the senior face of Deepgram to India's enterprises and partners.

This is primarily a build role. You will work across the spectrum from large enterprises to fast-moving tech startups, forming peer-to-peer relationships with CEOs, CTOs, and senior stakeholders. You will grow the direct enterprise motion, develop the systems-integrator and partner channel that matters so much in India, and build the team on top of an early footprint already in place.

You will shape the playbook rather than inherit one. If building a business in one of the world's most dynamic markets energizes you, this role is for you. WHO YOU ARE You are both a builder and a sales leader, and you are equally strong at each.

You sell at the top of the house, forming peer relationships with CEOs, CTOs, and senior stakeholders, and you are credible when the conversation turns to how the product actually works. You have opened a market or stood up a team from an early stage before, and you know the first year is less about running a machine and more about creating one.

You lead by example and build teams that outperform. You know how to attract, hire, and develop excellent salespeople, and how to build the partner relationships that scale a business in India. You run a disciplined operation, and you see building the team and carrying the number as two halves of the same job.

WHAT YOU'LL DO Own the number: accountable for India pipeline generation and ARR growth. Build India's go-to-market: grow the business on top of the strong demand we are already seeing, and turn it into a repeatable and scalable motion. Sell at the top of the house: form peer-to-peer relationships with CEOs, CTOs, and senior stakeholders across large enterprises and fast-moving tech startups alike.

Build the partner channel that matters in India: systems integrators and hyperscaler co-sell partners. Carry strategic deals personally as a player-coach while you build the team. Attract, hire, and coach excellent salespeople on top of an early footprint, and develop the next generation of Deepgram talent in-market.

Put the right sales rigor in place: pipeline discipline, accurate forecasting, and sound territory planning. Act as the voice of the India market inside Deepgram: bring back customer and product feedback, language readiness, and localization needs so we serve the market better and help shape the roadmap.

YOU'LL LOVE THIS ROLE IF YOU Are energized by building and want to shape and grow a market. Take pride in building a high-caliber team and leading it from the front. Are at ease selling to senior enterprise and startup leaders, and can hold your own on the substance of the product.

Understand how strong product-led demand becomes enterprise revenue at scale. Are comfortable being both a hands-on operator and the leader building the organization behind you. Are passionate about Deepgram's mission and what voice AI makes possible.

IT'S IMPORTANT TO US THAT YOU HAVE A track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams: hiring excellent people and developing them. Experience opening a market, building a region, or standing up a high performing GTM team. Deep experience in the Indian enterprise market, selling to senior and technical buyers.

Experience selling products with real technical depth, such as APIs, developer tools, or platforms evaluated on their merits by engineering buyers. Experience building and selling through the systems-integrator and partner channel in India, alongside a direct enterprise motion.

Comfort operating as a player-coach, carrying strategic deals personally while building the team. An existing network across Indian enterprise, the startup ecosystem, and the partner landscape. A history of stable tenure and clear progression across your roles.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD Experience selling voice AI, speech, or AI/ML. Experience scaling a go-to-market motion from early traction to repeatable revenue.
