Provider Relations Liaison (Must reside in Maricopa County, Arizona)

Position Summary The Provider Relations Liaison develops and maintains strong relationships with facilities, physicians, and ancillary providers that support a high-performing network of care for members.
This person focuses on provider engagement, satisfaction, and performance by serving as a primary liaison, resolving issues and concerns, facilitating communication, monitoring provider performance, identifying opportunities for network improvement or growth, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance overall network effectiveness.
Role Responsibilities: Acts as the primary resource for assigned, high profile providers or groups to establish, oversee, and maintain positive relationships by assisting with (or responding to) complex issues regarding policies and procedures, plan design, contract language, service, claims or compensation issues, and provider education needs.
Optimizes interactions with assigned providers and internal business partners to establish and maintain productive, professional relationships. Monitors service capabilities and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure that the needs of constituents are met, as well as that escalated issues related (but not limited) to, claims payment, contract interpretation or parameters, and accuracy of provider contract or demographic information are resolved.
Supports or assists with operational activities that may include (but are not limited to) database management and contract coordination. Educates providers as needed to ensure compliance with contract policies and parameters, plan design, compensation process, technology, policies, and procedures.
Meets with key providers periodically to ensure service levels are meeting expectations. Manages the development of agenda, validates materials, and facilitates external provider meetings. Collaborates cross-functionally on the implementation of large provider systems, in order to manage cost drivers and execute specific cost initiatives to support business objectives, as well as to identify trends and enlist assistance in problem resolution.
Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in provider relations and/or contracting. Resides in Maricopa County, Arizona. Must possess reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel up to 30-50% of the time, specifically within West Valley, Maricopa County, Arizona and surrounding areas.
Mileage is reimbursed per our company expense reimbursement policy. Preferred Qualifications Resides in West Valley, Maricopa County, Arizona. Working knowledge of problem solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to build and maintain relationships. Excellent collaboration skills, possessing a team-oriented nature. Ability to succeed in an independent, self-driven environment. Education High school diploma or GED. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $102,000.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
