Maintenance Manager Instrumentation Live What you will do Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance and instrumentation technicians in support of production equipment maintenance activities at Amgen’s manufacturing site in Holly Springs This role involves a 12 hour rotating shift that aligns with 24/7 coverage to align with ANC Manufacturing shift schedules.

Specific Duties include: With minimal direction, provide leadership, mentor and technical expertise to a team of 6 to 12 maintenance staff. Provide field support to troubleshoot, identify , and resolve more sophisticated equipment maintenance issues.

Ensure performance standards are established and consistently enforced. Ensure work activities are completed correctly. Improve right-first-time completion. Ensure activities are accomplished in a safe manner. Ensure high resource utilization .

Enhance staff efficiency. Ensure work is completed with minimal disruption to site operations. Manage activities to eliminate waste and ensure appropriate cost of maintenance. Ensure work is completed in accordance with procedures. Find opportunities for improvement, recommend solutions, and manage implementation.

Foster an environment of continuous improvement and excellence. Communicate with key customers and support groups. Ensure schedule breaking activities and flow interrupters are identified and addressed. Manage maintenance service providers in safe , compliant and cost-effective manner.

Develop and manage small improvement projects, as necessary, including driving use of predictive analytics tools. Be routinely present in the field to observe staff and activities. Remove obstacles and identify and implement opportunities for improvement.

Assess skills and capabilities of team . Ensure appropriate staff development occurs. Provide support when required - this may be outside of normal working hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Other tasks as assigned. The resilient professional we seek shall be able to adjust well in a fast pace working environment, while collaborating to solve issues and drive continuous improvements with these qualifications Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree Or Masters degree and 3 years of maintenance and/or operations/maintenance experience Or Associate’s degree and 5 years of maintenance and/or operations/maintenance experience Or Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of maintenance and/or operations/maintenance experience Or High school diploma / GDE and 12 years of maintenance and/or operations/maintenance experience Or In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have previous managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources.

Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above
