- make mobility more efficient and accessible for all. We are searching for a HW Test Engineer with an interest in complex, highly integrated custom hardware systems. This role is highly hands-on and sits at the multidisciplinary intersection of electrical, mechanical
- software engineering. This engineer will be supporting the Product Integrity Team which is responsible for design/production validation of the entire autonomous hardware kit including computers, integrated sensor pods
- In this role you will
- Own multiple test setups involved in validation waterfalls
- Participate in root cause and corrective action (RCCA) and debug efforts.
- Support modules through environmental and vibration testing and validation as a test infrastructure owner.
- Required qualifications
- Working knowledge of test equipment, including thermal chambers, vibe tables, liquid chillers, power supplies, electronic loads, and DAQs.
- Multidisciplinary experience across ME/EE; expertise in one, knowledgeable in the other.
- Experience working in a Linux environment and with computer networking
- Desirable Qualifications
- Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Systems Engineering.
- Python experience (automating repetitive tasks, analyzing data, and working within larger testing frameworks).
- Experience conducting thermal vibe testing
- The base salary range for this position is $127,000 - $184,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level
- location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training
- market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation
