JOB DUTIES: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership to define reporting requirements and establish automated financial models and processes to support decision-making across the Americas.
Responsible for Sales OpEx forecast process for North America Sales organization and provide fiscal guidance to drive operating leverage. Support National Accounts team by preparing sales forecasts, quota guidance, margin analysis, and monthly reports.
Handle ad-hoc requests to support decision-making. Conduct in-depth analyses of drivers for monthly and quarterly variances in expenses, revenue, and key business performance metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders in multiple regions.
Run quarter-end finance review sessions with commercial and executive leadership, combining deal assessments with financial forecasting to deliver clear financial insights. Build, operate, and maintain complex financial models for multiple lines of business, including forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and strategic projects to identify risks and opportunities.
Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reporting tools using software such as Microsoft Excel, think-cell, and SQL to monitor key financial metrics. Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Operations and Sales Operations teams to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide strategic recommendations to Sales leadership regarding cost saving and profitability improvement strategies. Analyze commercial data marts, and understand data structures, and downstream process dependencies, while considering impact of global market conditions.
Recommend pathways to profitable and sustained growth for North America's largest customers. Support global planning and financial management efforts, ensuring effective coordination and communication between different markets and regions. *Hybrid available, but must be able to work onsite.* Position offered by ResMed Corp
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Management Information Systems or related field of study and 3 years of experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis role.
- Applicants must have demonstrated experience with: 1) commercial-facing position within the medical device industry. 2) partnering with cross-functional teams for strategic planning and operational execution. 3) running financial reports and performing data analysis to support business decisions. 4) Microsoft Excel including advanced functions, pivot tables
- data visualization. 5) writing and executing SQL queries for financial and operational data analysis. 6) ERP systems (such as Oracle or SAP) and business intelligence tools, including Cognos Analytics, Tableau, Anaplan, TM1, Atoti
- ThinkCell. 7) S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) to align commercial forecast with operational capacity. 8) creating financial presentation materials and presenting financial concepts to diverse audiences. 9) identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
