We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate _Capital Markets_Core Processing in WM Operations to frontline operations responsible for trade support, asset servicing, clearance, settlement, reconciliations, exception management, and control execution across traditional capital markets products, primarily equities, options, and fixed income.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position level position within the Product Support & Services WM, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you'll do in the role: Trade Support & Exception Management Support the post-trade lifecycle for equities, options, and fixed income transactions, including trade capture validation, break resolution, amendments, corrections, and operational issue management.
Monitor trade activity and exception queues to ensure transactions are accurately reflected across relevant processing platforms and downstream books-and-records systems. Clearance, Settlement & Fail Management Support clearance and settlement processing, including unmatched trade review, settlement instruction validation, pending settlement monitoring, fail resolution, and escalation of aged or high-risk items.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve cash, security, position, and settlement-related breaks in a timely and controlled manner. Asset Servicing & Lifecycle Events Support asset servicing activities across traditional securities products, including dividends, interest, redemptions, corporate actions, reorganizations, entitlement validation, and related downstream impacts.
Coordinate with Asset Servicing, Settlements, Risk, Control, and other Operations teams to investigate event-related discrepancies and ensure accurate lifecycle processing. Reconciliations, Risk & Control Governance Perform daily reconciliations across trade, cash, securities, and position activity; investigate exceptions, identify root causes, and support timely remediation.
Adhere to documented procedures and control frameworks; escalate operational risk items, aged breaks, unresolved exceptions, and control concerns in accordance with established protocols. Stakeholder Coordination & Global Coverage Collaborate with Mumbai, U.S., and global Operations teams to support handoffs, follow-the-sun coverage, overnight monitoring, and continuity across time zones.
Develop strong relationships with Trade Support, Asset Servicing, Clearance, Settlement, Technology, Risk, Finance, and business stakeholders to support accurate, timely, and resilient processing. Experience supporting traditional securities products, including equities, listed options, and fixed income.
Exposure to U.S. market settlement processes, clearing utilities, depositories, fail-control processes, corporate actions, or broker-dealer / custody operations. Knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath, or similar tools for reporting, process insight, automation, and operational efficiency.
Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team. Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements.
Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output. Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution. What you'll bring to the role: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Working knowledge of the securities trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, clearance, settlement, fail management, lifecycle events, and reconciliations. Strong analytical skills with a control’s mindset; demonstrated ability to investigate breaks, identify root causes, and resolve exceptions under time pressure.
Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfort engaging cross-functional teams, documenting issues, and summarizing outcomes. Proficiency in Excel and operational reporting tools; familiarity with workflow, case management, or exception management platforms.
Ability to establish clear goals and priorities and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision. Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests.
